Overview
Storey Lake is a Lennar-built community at the corner of Osceola Parkway and Vineland Road (SR 535), in unincorporated Osceola County near Kissimmee and a few miles from Walt Disney World. GrowthSpotter describes it as a resort community with a shared clubhouse and a mix of condos, townhomes and single-family homes. GrowthSpotter reported an original approval for about 2,000 homes; later additions, including The Cove at Storey Lake, brought the total to about 2,790 homes in Osceola County parcel records. As of October 21, 2026, Lennar’s Storey Lake page redirected to its general Orlando listings and Jome showed the vacation townhomes as sold out, so this guide treats the community as sold out.1,2,3,4,6,12,13
Homes and builders
Lennar built Storey Lake in phases between about 2015 and 2024 that included single-family homes, townhomes and four-story condo buildings. The first condo buildings, called The Terraces, had 27 units each. With builder sales finished, there are no current builder collections or base prices to list. Resale inventory is plentiful: BEX Realty counted 176 homes for sale in October 2026, priced from about $263,500 to $1,050,000, and 195 sales over the previous year.1,3,4,5,12
Amenities and lifestyle
The main clubhouse opened with a resort pool and lazy river, a splash park, sport courts and miniature golf, according to GrowthSpotter. Listing sites also mention a fitness center, a playground, basketball courts and nature trails. Local agents market the community as a short-term-rental resort, so check current county and HOA rental rules whether you plan to rent the home or live in it full time.1,2,5,6,8,9

HOA dues vary by product and sub-association. MLS-based data from BEX Realty shows about $159 to $810 per month for homes, $247 to $550 for townhomes and about $921 for condos. An agent site lists separate fees for condo associations and the clubhouse. Storey Lake also has CDD assessments: GrowthSpotter reported that the Shingle Creek CDD manages the community’s public assets, and 2026 MLS listings and agent data show CDD charges of roughly $1,400 to $2,300 a year. Check the Osceola County tax bill for the home you’re considering.1,5,6,7,9,10,11
